Drove from Round Rock, Texas to Fort Stockton. Stopped in San Antonio and visited The Alamo and downtown. Stopped in Uvalde, Texas the site a an elementary school shooting. Stopped for photos along the way in Amistad National Recreation Area.

A working day in Round Rock, Texas. Had service done on the Subaru Outback. Spent time in a beautiful new library. Amazing dinner at Palermo Pasta House.

Hiked a trail in Big Thicket National Preserve. Drove the back roads to Austin, Texas the state capital.

Drove from New Orleans, LA to Silbee, TX. Entered the state of Texas.

Rode the green streetcar into NOLA. Visited the National World War II Museum. Took photos of Bourbon Street. Visited Louis Armstrong park.

Did the Honey Island Swamp Tour which lasted three hours. The tour is along the Pearl river in Louisiana.

Took the Hop-on Hop-off sightseeing tour. Walked the streets of the French District taking photos. Listened to a lot of live music.

Relaxed in the morning, had a salad for lunch. In the afternoon, drove to Drestrehan Plantation for a tour. After the tour, drove around taking photos of factories, refineries and loading docks.

Hiked around Acadiana Park near Lafayette.

Met Jody the kangaroo at Starbucks. Hiked Chicot State Park’s South to North Trail. Drove to Baton Rouge.

Toured Garan Woodland Gardens. Drove south to Shreveport, LA for a hike in the morning.

Visit to Buckstaff Bath for a hot bath in the springs and a message. Two visits to Deluca’s Pizza for lunch and dinner. Private history tour of downtown Hot Springs with Mike.

Hiked The Sunset Trail in Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas.

Spent the day at Garland County Library avoiding the storm, working on taxes, and going through a photography class. Ate lunch at the R&C Cafe. Had dinner at Little Italy on the outskirts of Hot Springs.

Drove from Springdale to Jasper. Tried to find a hiking path. Stop in Jasper for peach cobbler. Drove to Hot Springs, AR.

Drove the scenic drive from Harrison to Jasper stopping to take photographs. Explored the Buffalo National River region. Hiked from Steel Creek towards Ponca. Overnighted in Steel Creek near the river.

Spent the night at JFK Campground in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Hiked and photographed Collins Creek and Bridal Veil Falls. Drove north Harrison, Arkansas.
